MONIQUE BYRD-RIVERA: ARTIST
Monique Byrd-Rivera is a Miami-based mixed-media artist who spent 10 years in San Jaun after completing her Fine Arts Painting & Art Direction degree at SCAD. Born of Danish and American descent, both her Grandmothers were artists as well. Combining her influences has been key to her work: the modern simplistic Danish design, the passion and flavor from Puerto Rico and the happy brightness of South Florida’s colors. Monique’s art can be found all throughout the Caribbean and South Florida, from private commissions to public murals. She has exhibited in Wynwood, Miami, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Art Basel Miami and Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale.
PATRICK WILLARD: ARTIST
Renowned contemporary artist Patrick Willard, aka W4, creates one-of-a-kind contemporary art collages from his unique collection of rare rock concert tickets, backstage passes & VIP laminates, which collectively trace the arc of a lifetime spent traveling the world as a legendary music journalist & TV personality. The artist fashions his music and concert memorabilia into rock n’ roll inspired collage designs such as guitars, motorcycles, shoes, hearts, skulls and more.
TIMOTHY RAINES: ARTIST
Precise movement that relinquishes control of the outcome is the element of surprise that enables Raines’ unique results. To be able to evoke an entirely new image from a logo that we see on a daily basis is remarkable. To be able to maintain the authenticity of a brand while abstracting it on a particle level is phenomenal. Although there have been many developments of splatter style in modern painting, Raines is the master of utilizing the established symbolism of an emblem to evoke a fresh, yet classic perspective.
ARI AZZOPARDI: ARTIST
Ari Azzopardi is a mixed-media artist who currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with a BFA in painting and sculpture. Her work is approached by a creative execution driven by process and spontaneity; focused on form, color, and energy. Informed with an intuitive sense of color and space, she then establishes the direction of each piece, layer by layer until the work feels grounded with a sense of fluidity. Color is a very important component in her works as it has the ability to evoke feelings of something transcendent or suggest a transcendent space.
