Precise movement that relinquishes control of the outcome is the element of surprise that enables Raines’ unique results. To be able to evoke an entirely new image from a logo that we see on a daily basis is remarkable. To be able to maintain the authenticity of a brand while abstracting it on a particle level is phenomenal. Although there have been many developments of splatter style in modern painting, Raines is the master of utilizing the established symbolism of an emblem to evoke a fresh, yet classic perspective.

“I draw inspiration from images both past and present, light and dark, sometimes combining the two in hopes of creating an imperfect symmetry. My goal is to take the seemingly unimaginable and make it a visual reality by blurring the lines between the real and surreal, creating a story where final interpretation is open to multiple realizations. There are a number of different paths in my work… which one is ultimately chosen is left for you to decide”. – Jason Brueck

Ari Azzopardi is a mixed-media artist who currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with a BFA in painting and sculpture. Her work is approached by a creative execution driven by process and spontaneity; focused on form, color, and energy. Informed with an intuitive sense of color and space, she then establishes the direction of each piece, layer by layer until the work feels grounded with a sense of fluidity. Color is a very important component in her works as it has the ability to evoke feelings of something transcendent or suggest a transcendent space.

The Williams McCall Gallery is the first fine art gallery located in the trendy South of Fifth neighborhood of South Beach and has become a “must visit” destination for art lovers and collectors.

The stylishly minimalist gallery represents a diverse roster of local and international artists creating contemporary paintings, works on paper, fine art photography, encaustic collage and sculpture.

There is a unique mix of emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Several of the artists have a strong Provincetown, Massachusetts connection – the oldest, largest, and continuous art colony in America.

The Gallery bridges various artist communities and provides its artists greater exposure in new markets. We promote the rich variety of talent found in the US and around the world.
