On Wednesday, July 19th 2017 from 6-10PM, ticket holders will get behind the scenes access to participating restaurants. At each location a designated area will be reserved for guests to meet the chefs, indulge in a sampling of their menus, and have a custom created cocktail or glass of wine. Local artists and musical acts will be showcased in multiple restaurants throughout the evening.
Red, the Steakhouse
Chef/Partner Peter Vauthy doesn’t settle. The L’Academie de Cuisine (Gaithersburg, MD) recognized that when he graduated with distinction. The guests at Red, the Steakhouse recognize it from their first bite. Peter’s philosophy is simple. “We order and work with the best. If we don’t have what the world says is the best, we search for it until we track it down. We don’t deal with second-rate ingredients here.” No wonder Red keeps racking up awards. As for those who believe that “a steak is just a steak?” Let’s just say that Peter has proven otherwise.

Bakehouse Brasserie is a bistro wrapped in the high energy, elegant South of Fifth neighborhood that calls to mind the charming eateries of Paris. The culinary team is led by Menin Hospitality’s Corporate Culinary Director, Chef Bernie Matz alongside Chef Steve Frank and Pastry Chef Tatiana Vernot.
Inside the cozy 87-seat quaint Parisian café, guests are greeted by friendly staff, aromatic pleasures and a European styled bar. Starting at 7 a.m. Bakehouse offers grab + go baked goods, Panther coffee, freshly squeezed juice and a selection of hot breakfast items. A focal point is the large pastry display counter where you can order fresh baked breads, homemade croissants, pastelitos, cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls and one of a kind cakes.
NIKKI BEACH Miami Beach
Located at the prestigious address of 1 Ocean Drive, Nikki Beach Miami Beach has established itself as a quintessential South Beach landmark and luxury beach club since its inception in 1998. The brand’s flagship location is comprised of a large oceanfront complex that features a beach club, award-winning restaurant, cabana bar, garden area café and second floor nightclub. Open daily, jetsetters, celebrities and Miami locals flock to Nikki Beach to soak up the sun on luxurious day beds while enjoying lunch and creative cocktails. The extensive menu spans dishes representative of all the countries Nikki Beach is located in around the world including healthful salads, innovative sushi rolls, freshly caught seafood entrees and slow-roasted free range rotisserie chicken. Izzys Oyster Bar
The concept of Izzy’s Fish & Oyster began with memories of growing up on the shores of Narragansett, Cape Cod and the Islands and summers filled with sunny days, balmy nights, sandy toes, and bellies filled with the freshest seafood coastal New England has to offer. For some, it will be a reminder of similar summer time memories and, for others, a first experience of New England seafood right here in Miami Beach. Our passion and desire is to create a memorable local seafood & beverage dining experience in Miami Beach’s vibrant South of Fifth neighborhood, serving traditional New England fare in a cool, fresh and hip South Beach setting.
Lilikoi Organic Living offers a menu using mostly organic ingredients with a focus on clean eating, so there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and hormone-free meats. Nutritional yeast is used in place of salt, and frying is done in coconut oil. The space near South Pointe Park has a tropical vibe with a black-and-white mural of plants, wood tables and a pressed tin ceiling painted white. Wicker chairs and a couch are at distressed wooden tables in the covered patio. There are juices, smoothies, sandwiches, salads and mains like green farro risotto made with an ancient wheat grain, green beans, pesto and a dollop of goat cheese; shrimp skewers with chile sauce; and gluten-free pizza made with rice flour.
The restaurant is co-owned by Argentines Mariano and Silvana Torterola; son Manuel and daughter-in-law Tina, who run the restaurant.
South Point Tavern
South of Fifth’s Favorite local bar is on the corner of Ocean and South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach. Opened in 2016 by neighborhood friends, the venue is driven by flawlessly executed cocktails and a terrific menu of small plates, served in a beautiful space without pretense.
South Pointe Tavern features an artisanal menu with dishes like ceviches and crudos, flatbreads and a wide range of seasonal salads and sandwiches. Our small plates and a wide array of imported charcuterie and cheese is the perfect starter to any meal or a great late night snack.
TEXAS DE BRAZIL- BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE
Carving a new experience in dining! The concept combines the cuisine of Southern Brazil with the spirit of Texas, for a dining experience unmatched anywhere else. Voted as one of “America’s Top Restaurants” by Zagat, Texas de Brazil features a dynamic menu of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage all deliciously seasoned, cooked over an open flame and carved tableside by the Gauchos. The restaurant also features a 50-item, fresh gourmet salad area containing seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses, authentic Brazilian dishes and other specialties.
